Cold, Windy & Fast - Biathlon World Cup in Canmore, AB

It was a cold and windy day for the Biathlon World Cup held in Canmore, AB. The polar vortex was in full force, but just shy of calling for a cancellation of today's relay races. I was there there covering the event for CBC and thought I'd share a few of my favourite images here.

For one athlete, Brendan Green, this race marked the last time he would cross the finish line as a professional athlete. The crowd & his teammates emotionally celebrated him & his career.
