Connecting in a time of disconnection (Covid-19)

Time took a different meaning in the last few months, especially for kids and their parents.

Amidst the juggling act of work, home schooling, and 'normal' life, there remained moments of beauty. In the past, I may not have pulled out my camera to capture these every day actions. However, I'm glad I did, as a record of both this unusual time and of the simpler moments in my sons' childhood (which is passing far too quickly in my opinion).

I'm thankful for these images because I was truly present.

I was there; to see them, to record them, and to honour them by recognizing the beauty in everyday.

Thank you Covid-19, for that gift.

Also, thank you to my neighbours who kept me inspired through their 7pm noise making (to honour front line workers) and for their creative home workouts.
