I volunteered as a photographer for the final day of the Canmore Folk Festival. I had a wonderful, music filled day observing the multitude of people, styles, and emotions around me. The weather couldn't make up it's mind on whether to be nice or nasty to us festival goers, however, it luckily made for a wide variety of images! Naturally, I was drawn to the children amongst the crowd and the love/joy shown by so many. This festival has something special; maybe it's the people; maybe it's the environment; maybe it's the music; but I think it is the magical, unquantifiable element of it all coming...
